BEAUTIFUL DAY- DONATIONS FROM PARK NATURAL HEALYH FOOD

Sunny Sunday, beautiful, gorgeous and so happy.
Park Natural,  an Health Food store located in Carroll Gardens. Great and beautiful place at the store you can purchase a variety of organic products, food and totes made form recycled materials and among them HIMANE Signature Recycled Totes for all your groceries shopping.

I was on the phone this morning with Richard the Manager taking an order for more Himane Signature tote bags and started to share with Richard about my project in helping and supporting Haiti. HAITI, is a family, a friend, a nation, a country in deep need. After telling him about my projects, he was so happy to offer his help and told me to stop by this coming week as they will have boxes of food ready to be donated as a support to my effort.
Wonderful, I am overwhelm with joy. So nice of him. People are wonderful and can be very supportive at time. So far I had and have quite a few in my path.

Thank s to Richard and Bob at Park Natural and to you all for your support.

Now we are focusing on food, tents and sleeping bags to get there asap, but tomorrow, a week or in a month and there after we will need your help to build, donate for our Art and Design/ Sustainable housing project.

Have a great Sunday as for me I have to go to my studio and work now.
Remember to Smile, Share and be grateful all day, all the time no matter what.

BE BLESSED!!!

SNOWY DAY & TRIP TO THE TRAILER IN JERSEY CITY. 2/25/10

I have been working myself to death lately with;  getting things organized and ready for my next future events, meeting with clients demand, looking for sponsors for different events.

I guess sometimes I do think  that I am a super woman or something, but last night my body litterally shut down at around 9 pm and for the first time in 2 months I slept until  8 am this morning. So, since I did not have any meeting today I decided to stay in, to update my website and do other little work here and there.
At around 9:45 am my dear friend and model Marija Kero called and was on her way to pick me up.
Marija, wearing one my designs during a Fashion presentation at the Trump Plaza last May.

Marija is so dedicated to help with my project in collecting donations from all over.
A good friend of hers, Adonis Mayol from EVANS DELIVERY COMPANY, Inc.  donate a trailer which offer me the opportunity and ability to ship everything to Haiti.
So being off today as well Marija and brother Roko came to pick me up so I can finally meet Adonis  to thank him for his gift and generosity, also to collect the keys and to start loading boxes in the trailer.
So at around 10 this morning all 3 of us drove to Jersey City  in that crazy weather but feeling wonderful and joking all along the way.

Adonis and his family own the trucking company and was so generous to donate that 53 feet long trailer for me to ship donations I have been collected, tents, sleeping bags and other necessary items I purchased from money I collected at my last event on January 28th and will be looking to purchase more in the near future to send to Haiti as I am trying my best to reach out and help families, friends, hundred of people who are in need, a country and a nation in despair.
Marija, Roko, Adonis and to all of you I would like to say thank you for your help and support.

For those of you who would like to donate, live around NJ and to drop your donations, the trailer is located  at 400 Duncan Ave., Jersey City, NJ. 07306
The phone number is 201-309-0711  ask for Adonis, but please do contact me prior at 646-250-5101
It will be the trailer with words HIMANE- HAITI RELIEF you will look for and leave your donations in or just leave the packages with the security guard.
